“I’ve been taking private lessons with Kelli for over two years now. I’ve always loved yoga and enjoyed its mind/body benefits, but I’m glad that I finally found an opportunity to try out one on one sessions as I feel they allowed me to finally maximize the benefit from my practice. It turns out that, along with some other chronic health conditions, I am hypermobile which means I can sometimes be too flexible and over-extend in a yoga pose. Kelli figured this out quickly, within our first session, and helped me learn how to properly hold my body to prevent injuries while still participating in my favorite form of exercise.
Kelli is always mindful of what my body needs and can tailor any session to what I need that specific day, which is very important for everyone but especially for people with chronic illnesses. She’s also an excellent coach, knowing when it’s okay to gently push me and when it’s better to not. I think she’s very good at giving each person what they want/need from a session and adapting her coaching style to fit your needs, and I know she works with people to help them meet all sorts of different goals. She is always a pleasure to work with.
One on one private sessions allow for a much more individualized program and personalized attention than a regular yoga class, and I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to get the most out of their practice.”
